Currently, I serve bi-vocationally as Minister to Adults at MLBC and
as a Customer Service Representative for Millet the Printer, Inc. I earned
a M.A. in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1996
and a B.S. in Psychology / Bible and Theology from Dallas Bible College
in 1985.
Carol and I have been married since November 9, 1985. Her discernment
and practicality has served as a compass to navigate our life together.
She is currently pursuing her passion for teaching elementary school
science. She is also out numbered at home because we have three sons!
Prayed for girls—got boys.
What greater contribution can we make to the world than to disciple
believers and unbelievers in their understanding of all that God has
done? For this purpose, I have focused my intentions and desire toward
vocational ministry. The local church’s practice of worship, instruction,
fellowship and expression provide the best opportunity to exercise my
spiritual gifts of teaching and exhorting while utilizing my understanding
of Christian Education. I am trusting God to enable me to meet the charge
given in 1 Peter 5:2-3:
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving
as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as
God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not
lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
