Sandra Carouth considers it a joy and a privilege to serve the families of Mimosa Lane, through the preschool and children’s ministries.  Her goal is to help provide and maintain a Christian environment in which your child may grow physically, emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually.

   Sandra grew up in Mesquite, married her husband, Rick, in 1981, and moved to Fort Hood, Texas, as a military wife.  Throughout the years, Rick and Sandra have also lived in Bamberg, Germany, Columbia, South Carolina and Boston, Massachusetts.  They have two beautiful daughters, Melanie Robyn and Amy Michelle. 

   Rick retired from the United States Army in 1995, and he and Sandra chose to make their home here, in Mesquite. 

   Sandra first became acquainted with this church in 1997, when she enrolled her daughter, Amy, in Mimosa Lane’s
playschool/preschool program.  Following that, she became a playschool teacher here, in 1999, and their family joined the church in the year 2001.  Sandra has continued to work, as a teacher, in Mimosa Lane’s playschool program and says that it is a great source of encouragement and enrichment to her. 

   Watching her children grow up in the church has been, and continues to be a blessing in Sandra’s life.  Today, Melanie is a graduate of Horn High School, and currently attending college.  Amy is an active participant in the youth ministry and the Ignite Student Choir.
