James
Patton grew up in Richardson and has served churches in the Dallas area
ministering to the deaf. Married to Virginia Ann Rooney from Chicago,
Illinois in December of 1984. James and family joined Mimosa Lane in
October 2001. They have 6 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren.
James
got a call to serve the deaf, teaching God's word in several churches
beginning in 1986. I have received a Certification of License into the
Gospel Ministry at Mimosa Lane in May 2005. Having been licensed to
minister to the deaf have given me a wide range of opportunity to serve
the deaf when the need arises. My wife, Virginia interprets for the deaf
in American Sign Language and helps assist me in the Deaf Ministry.
My
heart's desire is to see the unsaved, unreached, and unchurched deaf in
the deaf community to receive Jesus Christ in their heart language (ASL).
