Question: What are the meeting times?
Answer: RAs meet at 7:00pm every Wednesday
during the school year.
Question: Isn't the RA program just a
Southern Baptist Boy Scouts?
Answer: At Mimosa Lane we see
Royal Ambassadors as:
1. A Boy's Club - We have Fun!
2. A Discipleship program (eternal investments)
where Jesus is taught and modeled.
3. A place of Mission Education and Outreach.
When the RA Counselor knowledge base
is there, we also teach the Campcraft
skills that are quite similar to what
is taught in Boy Scouts.
Question: Why should RAs be part of my
child's spiritual upbringing?
Answer: The Mimosa Lane Royal Ambassadors program
will provide your child the opportunity to pray for
missionaries and to learn about what missionaries do.
The first - sixth graders that participate in the MLBC RA
program will also be offered the opportunities to do
mission projects. They are urged to witness to their
friends in schools and/or to bring their friends to church.
They memorize Bible verses and do crafts that illustrate a
Biblical and/or Mission message.
RAs will never be able to provide the 'whole' spiritual
experience for your son. We recommend that as much as
possible, that your child participate in:
